2014 Homecoming Week

homecomingHomecoming week will be especially busy for the Sparkman Band. We have a few changes to our regularly scheduled rehearsals and there will be a tailgate/pep rally on Thursday night.  In addition, the band is planning to have three different marching performances throughout the game on Friday night.  Band students should read the daily schedule of events for this week below.

We hope to welcome home a lot of Sparkman Band Alumni at the game this Friday night!

Monday the band will complete the upperclassman chair auditions.  Trumpet players should be sure to signup for a time slot posted on the white board in the band room.

The after school rehearsal has changed slightly for this week.  Marching Band will rehearse from 4-5 and Competition Band will rehearse from 5-6.  Students will learn the homecoming halftime show during the Marching Band rehearsal.

The school will have a rehearsal for homecoming during 3rd block.  This rehearsal will not include 2nd block marching band students.

Wednesday will also mark the deadline for spring trip deposits.

After school on Wednesday there will be a make up rehearsal for those students receiving an "excused" missed rehearsal.  Students will need their instrument and the rehearsal will be in the high school band room from 4-5.
