Independence HS Competition

The Sparkman Varsity and Jr. Varsity guard will compete at Independence High School this Saturday.  Below are instructions from Mrs. Jones.

Parents, please secure your transportation plans now! I do not want anyone worried about how they are going to get there come Friday night. I have Orielle and DeAshia riding with me as of now.  We will all have to be there early so you will get both schedules. We will have practice and load equipment Friday night as usual. The girls will need to eat a good breakfast and then we will have an hour break for lunch.  I will factor in time for them to have dinner later too.
The address to this competition is:

Independence High School

JV Instructions

After performance we need to refold the tarp for the Varsity  guard performance.  After we are finished,   we have to get back to the gym quickly in order to help Athens with their tarp.  At 12:15 we will have a lunch time of about an hour, then will meet back in the gym for the remainder of the competition.

Percussion groups will perform then there will be awards for the first group of guards and the percussion at 2:18.

My volunteers for this event are Heather Lane- tarp and equipment, Ember Lewis –chaperone and

Kellie Dunaway- equipment JV guard.

Varsity Instructions

After performance we will load tarp and equipment.  Then sit together and wait to help Vivace with the tarp. They perform at 8:11 so there isn’t much time in between. Awards begin at 8:31. Hopefully we will all be home by 10:30!

My chaperons for this event are Heather Lane (tarp and equipment), and Ember Lewis.

Have a safe trip,
